Angel Tree: Community Center of Hope
Angel Tree is a program in partnership with the Flat Rock–Hawcreek School Corporation, designed to bring holiday joy to children whose families may be struggling financially. Thanks to the generosity of caring volunteer families who “adopt” children from the tree, these kids receive thoughtful gifts and experience the magic of the season.

Provides holiday gift assistance to Bartholomew County children. Children may select 3 wanted items and 1 needed item.
Toys/Gifts: $50 maximum per item.
Teen Hair/Body Items: Include preferences (hair type, fragrance, scent, brand); $50 maximum per item.
Gift Cards: Not guaranteed.
Needs: Clothing, shoes, bedding, etc.; include preferences such as colors.
Clothing: Include size and specify child/adult sizing (e.g., 2T, 6 Slim, Girls 14, Adult).
Shoes: Include size and specify toddler, child, or adult.

Eligibility
Must meet state assistance requirements; children must be age 16 or younger and may only be registered for ONE Holiday Assistance Program.
Intake Procedure
Walk in to complete an application; no children over age 4 permitted at registration. Families must pre-register and pick up gifts on the designated December date. A card with the pick-up time and location will be mailed.
What To Bring
Photo ID for all household members age 18+; birth certificates for all children in the household; current income and expense documentation; proof of address (utility bill); and 3 wish-list items plus clothing and shoe sizes for each child.

Parents/legal guardians and children must reside in Bartholomew County. School-age children must attend school in Bartholomew County. Household income must be at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Children may only be registered for ONE Holiday Assistance Program.
Intake Procedure
Families must apply through the Elks Lodge #521 Facebook page and pre-register to participate. Gifts must be picked up during the designated pick-up time in mid-December.
What To Bring
Parent/legal guardian must provide a valid photo ID and a birth certificate or insurance card for each child listed on the application.
