Client must have a working phone. Salvation Army will call client before delivery and client must answer.

We work with local organizations and federal authorities. We mobilize to provide people with food, water, and emergency shelter.

The Columbus Salvation Army offers rent and utility assistance to families experiencing financial difficulties, providing support during challenging times. They specifically assist with rent and utility payments, excluding deposits, helping families to maintain stable housing and essential services.

The Salvation Army offers a food pantry to provide nutrition and other necessary items to families. A typical visit provides a three-to-five-day supply of nutritionally balanced groceries.

The pantry supplies nonperishable food and dry pantry goods, with a focus on balanced grains, canned vegetables and fruits, proteins, and pasta. Knowing that these may only provide short-term relief, we also provide resources to help provide longer-term food support, plus access to different food bank locations.
